The internal laboratory carries out homologation tests on all products which are subsequently certified by accredited bodies.
Palazzoli has obtained the CTF 2 (Customer Testing Facilities) recognition to be able to carry out tests on electrical products in its own laboratory.
Important tools such as the goniophotometer are used to carry out qualified tests on lighting products internally. Palazzoli has other test tools: IP, IK, salt spray, humidity, insulation, integrating sphere, spectroradiometer, heating, duration.
The internal Galvanic Treatments department deals with protecting the components from:

The Painting department is able to improve the chemical resistance performance of the product. This process ensures a longer product life through fluorozircon plating, which precedes powder coating. These operations have zero environmental impact, no pollutants are emitted.
The Moulding Department deals with moulding, overmoulding and co-moulding of plastic materials. The moulds (over 15,000), all owned, are designed by Palazzoli in co-operation with workshops of proven expertise.
For the ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS division
The Assembly Department deals with the assembly of finished products. It starts from simple couplings to complex realizations such as rotary switches, sockets and electrical panels. The configurations can be standard and customized on customer request.
The Lighting Department deals with the construction of all LED lighting fixtures. It is protected with antistatic material and with access authorization through a test station. Each product is individually submitted to electrical and optical tests.
The Quality Control Department guarantees that raw materials, processes and finished products satisfy and comply with Palazzoli's high standards. It ensures that process and product controls are carried out correctly both on the production line and on the machine. It verifies the dimensions of the finished components and performs the metallographic analysis of the materials.

The Company has adopted a quality management system according to the international standard UNI EN ISO9001 and an environmental management system, certified according to the international standard UNI EN ISO14001.
Palazzoli's attention is also paid to human capital, to which the ISO45001 certified health and safety management system is dedicated.
In the Atex area, Palazzoli obtained the "Notification of the PRODUCT QUALITY guarantee" from IMQ and the "Quality Assessment Report" (IECEx QAR) for the production of electrical and lighting systems for potentially explosive atmospheres.
