TIGUA LED: a solution for every environment
The TIGUA LED marine aluminum alloy floodlights fit perfectly in all spaces where proper light control is required. TIGUA LED has different lighting levels, suitable uniformity ratios and glare limitation (UGR ≤ 22).
The TIGUA LED series contains different lighting solutions for: sport, industrial, commercial environments, food industrial areas in compliance with HACCP regulations, road projects, tunnels and for highly explosive environments (ATEX)
With TIGUA LED floodlights it is possible to obtain different combinations between optics, powers and flows.
TIGUA LED also has a wide range of accessories available, for mounting there are several solutions depending on the type of application:
- TIGUA LED with adjustable bracket, typical of floodlights;
- Wall-mounted TIGUA LED through the special 750mm arm mounting;
- Pendantand adjustable pendant TIGUA LED , ceiling mounting, with double chain connection and busbar, suitable in industrial installations, or commercial sites;
- Polemounting TIGUA LED (Ø 60 mm) with special collar and counterplate;
- Headboard TIGUA LED for steel ropes with 0 - 90° adjustable bracket;
- TIGUA LED on pole(Ø 42 mm and Ø 60 mm) through the universal "pole head" bracket, in road installations;

TIGUA LED: resistant and practical
Those who use LED luminaires in their projects are aware of how important the concept of "durability" of the product is and how this concept is linked to the materials used in the realization, and to the choices regarding heat dissipation.
The TIGUA LED floodlights are made of EN 44300 die-cast marine aluminum alloy with low copper content and are suitable for use in highly aggressive environments, they have an anti-condensation gore-tex® breathing valve, extra-clear tempered glass or polycarbonate (for food use).
The unique thermal management system allows you to keep the semiconductors unchanged over time, through the clever design of the fins of heat dissipation, in marine aluminum, placed above the LED modules.
The power supply at the rear of the lighting fixture is not affected by the temperature generated by the LEDs.
Here are the laboratory tests carried out on TIGUA LED demonstrating the effectiveness of heat dissipation, the tests show that the useful life of the product in terms of projection hours is equal to:
- L90/B10 @ of 230,000 hours, for Tigua LED Floodlight;
- L80/B20 @ of 120,000 hours, for Tigua LED Pendant;
- L80/B20 @ of 100,000 hours, for Tigua LED Road;
- L80/B20 @ of 100,000 hours, for Tigua LED Tunnel;
- L90/B10 @ of 230,000 hours, for Tigua LED ATEX pendant for zone 1,2,21,22;
The high number of hours allows reduced maintenance interventions, among ordinary maintenance only the cleaning of the LED device is necessary, which thanks to the compact and ergonomic shape is quick and fast.
The compact design is designed to make the device lightweight (only 6.5 kg in weight), manageable and allow simple assembly, thus reducing installation costs.
TIGUA LED: optics, flows, efficiency and colour rendering
The TIGUA LED Palazzoli series is composed of various powers and flows, optimized according to light efficiency, which in the least performing case is greater than 110 lm/W (this power is calculated considering colour temperatures of 4000 K and CRI greater than 80).
The choice to lower the colour temperature (other temperatures are on request), reflects the desire to lower the blue component of the semiconductor light (LED).
It is important to emphasize that all sources are free of photobiological risk, according to the EN 62471 standard.
The powers available for TIGUA LED are:
- from 48 W(7,002 lm) to 188 W (27,480 lm), with power supply at 700 mA, for devices typically for projection and outdoor devices and for ambient temperatures up to +40° C;
- from 33 W(4,625 lm) to 182 W (27,750 lm), with power supply at 700 mA, for devices for industrial and commercial use and for ambient temperatures up to +40°C; for the most demanding environments, TIGUA LED HT version decives have been manufactured that operate up to + 55°C.
At the photometric level, the TIGUA series includes various optics suitable for different environments:
- for sports equipment, symmetricaland asymmetrical diffusing or concentrating LED optics;
- for road systems, LED road opticscapable of complying with the rules against light pollution;
- for industrial and commercial installations, symmetrical diffusing LED optics(average installation height 4-7 m), medium (average installation height 5-8 m) and concentrating (installation height over 6 m);
- for lanes inside warehouses, elliptical LED optics;
TIGUA LED: power, energy saving and safety
Unlike traditional metal iodide or sodium high-pressure sources, LED technology makes it possible to further increase energy savings, thanks to the possibility of dimming the source by connecting all the devices of a plant to a building automation system.
The entire Tigua LED series, in addition to providing standard on-off power supplies, can be equipped with a dimmable 1-10 V, DALI or Wireless power supply, without flicker effect.
At the electrical level, the power supply has a protection against incoming discharges of up to 8 kV for the common mode (line-ground) and 6 kV for the differential mode (line-phase) (10 and 8 KV for tunnels and road).
The connection to the mains is made through a connector external to the device that guarantees a quick connection without having to open the device, thus eliminating the risk of altering the degree of protection IP66, and increasing the degree of safety.
TIGUA LED: EMERGENCY VERSIONS TO COMPLETE THE SERIES
All Tigua LED devices in the pendant version can be equipped with an emergency module.
The inverter with the battery pack is housed in an IP66/IP67 watertight box, thus being separated from the luminaire.
This configuration allows the rapid installation of the emergency kit (with autonomy of 1 or 3 hours) in the most suitable position: near the device or directly on the body, thanks to a specific bracket supplied in galvanized steel, prepared for the fixed double chain connection.
During emergency operation, the device guarantees a flow of 995 lm, while recharging the battery pack takes 24 hours.
